What does New Year’s mean to me? I will be honest and say this: if I had my way, I’d spend every New Year’s huddled at home, ringing in the new year with a kiss from hubby and a nice drink. I used to go out and party before I had kids, and it’s just not my preference any more. I guess I had my bum pinched by too many drunk guys in bars.
(*Not Rosanna’s bum.*)
I don’t much care to watch the New Year’s countdown shows on TV. I usually just tune in to watch the ball drop.
Put me in front of a lovely fireplace or in front of a favorite movie, and I’m a happy camper. Oh, and of course, there will be food. My favorite treat?
Did I mention I’m a low-maintenance kind of girl?
How do you like ringing in the New Year?
Share your traditions with me and one reader who comments will win a book from my backlist!
Thanks for participating. Loved the disclaimer on the ‘bum’ picture lol

LOL, thanks for having me, Lisa! Yeah, definitely not my bum, or the dude who pinched it. 🙂

My husband and I have done different types of New Years, alone, going to a hotel, Niagra Falls, with family. This year we are at the cottage with a few friends, this is my favourite type of celebration by far.
Happy New Years

I love blog hops, thanks for participating. New Year’s Eve is not a favorite holiday. I like watching holiday movies, yep still watching them on New Year’s and making finger foods that I normally do not indulge in.

Thanks Suzanne. Yep, it’s not one of my faves, unless I get to spend it how I like: quietly. LOL So glad you could hop with us. Happy new year!
