Rosanna’s Recommended Reads, Feb/16 edition.

At the tail end of 2015, I shared some of the books I’ve enjoyed and reviewed. However, there are a couple of others I very much wanted to mention and thought it might be fun to do another “recommended reads” post. Not all of these are brand new, but for one reason or other, they stuck with me and I hope you will enjoy them as well.

See Me by Pauline Allan

I first discovered Pauline Allan in 2012, when I read See Me for the first time. I’ve often found myself thinking about it again. Pauline’s romance is edgy and powerful and features a female pornography entrepreneur and a man who has run out of options. It’s very sexy, haunting and I think anyone who appreciates hard-hitting romance will love it.

What a Girl Wants by Selena Robins

If you follow me on social media, you may see me talking about Selena Robins’ book a lot. That’s because this contemporary romance is fun, fun, fun. You will fall in love with heroine Maddie and “sex-on-legs’ hero Alex. The tropical setting doesn’t hurt either. Can these friends successfully become lovers? I won’t tell! Read it yourself.

More than Magic by Donna June Cooper

donna

This was my first book by Donna June Cooper but I know I will continue with this magical paranormal series. The setting is unique. The protagonists, appealing. And the paranormal elements are so different and fun. No sparkly vampires here but you might encounter some “fairy dust.” Oh, and maybe a witch or two. Lots of fun.

Forged in Fire by Juliette Cross

juliette

I loved the first book in Juliette’s Vessel Trilogy and plan to catch up on the rest of this paranormal series featuring demon hunters and “vessels” and all sorts of fun heaven-and-hell references. Jude is a delicious hero and the rest of the characters are equally intriguing. Can’t wait to experience more of this world.

  1. Thank you for including me on your list, Rosanna.

I have Donna June Cooper on my TBR and I’m also going to check out these other books as I’m always on the look out for new-to-me authors to read.

Your support is much appreciated. xo
