Squee! It’s release day for An Irresistible Force, Handymen 2, and I couldn’t be happier!

I know I’ve been sharing bits and pieces about this book for a while, but here’s a quick recap:

An Irresistible Force features:
– a cinnamon roll hero. In fact, Eli Zorn is sweet and introspective and very hot in his work boots
– a heroine inspired by Stevie from Schitt’s Creek. If forced to choose, I’d have to say Bernie Nolan is my favourite heroine of all the heroines I’ve written. She’s snarky, fun and strong. I love her, and I hope you do too.
– Hot landscaper + a woman determined to undermine his latest project + a dash of forced proximity = HOT!

CW: in this story, both the heroine and the hero were bullied as teens, so there are discussions about teen bullying. As the story progresses, it is one of the things that creates a deep, meaningful bond between them.

A tale of two titles! (Psst, they’re both “irresistible!) @MelTing21

In the publishing world, it’s pretty common to run into books that have similar or even identical titles. And even though I always try very hard to come up with something I haven’t seen before, it’s impossible to be aware of every title out there.
However, it’s not very often one of your books shares a title with that of a romance buddy’s book!
That is exactly the case with An Irresistible Force, Handymen 2.

When I did my cover reveal, awesome author Melanie Ting reached out to me and told me she has a book of the same name! I was aware of her hockey romance series, the Vancouver Vice series, but I didn’t realize she had a book called An Irresistible Force! So, when she told me, we had a good giggle about it, and decided we needed to show each other some book love.

It looks like a great read! Here’s the blurb:
